Scope & Boundaries

What the price does and does not cover

Clear boundaries before work starts, so there are no surprises part-way through a build.

Always applies

  • These are proposed starting rates, not guaranteed fixed quotes. The final price depends on scope, integrations, content and requirements.
  • Unused maintenance hours expire at the end of each month and do not roll over.
  • Maintenance covers upkeep and agreed small improvements. Major new features are quoted as separate work.
  • Hosting, domain registration, third-party services and paid subscriptions are separate unless a proposal states that they are included.
  • Two rounds of consolidated revisions are included per package. Feedback is collected as one consolidated list per round, and further rounds are quoted separately.
  • Prices are agreed in writing per project before work begins.

Excluded unless listed

  • Content writing and copywriting
  • Paid assets such as stock photography, fonts, illustrations or plugins
  • Complex third-party integrations beyond those listed in the package
  • E-commerce functionality on website packages
  • Advanced authentication, roles and permissions
  • Hosting, domain registration and email services
  • Paid third-party subscriptions and API usage

What moves the price

  • Number of pages and how much custom layout work they need
  • Which integrations are in scope, and whether they need custom work
  • How much content is ready, and who writes it
  • Third-party services the project depends on
  • The platform, hosting and account setup involved

Prices are agreed in writing per project. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted before it is built.

Pricing Questions

About these numbers

The questions that usually come up when a price is published openly.

  • Are these fixed prices?

No. They are proposed starting rates for the scope listed on each package, which show what a project of that shape usually costs to begin. The final price depends on the scope, integrations, content and requirements, and is agreed in writing before work starts.

  • Why do the INR and USD prices differ?

The two rates are configured separately for clients in India and clients elsewhere. The USD figure is an international rate rather than a converted INR amount, so it does not move with the exchange rate. Use the switch above to compare both columns.

  • What is covered by the starting price?

Each package lists its own inclusions — pages, layouts, integrations, testing, deployment, handover and the included revision rounds. Anything not listed is either quoted separately or excluded, and the proposal you receive states which is which.

  • What is not covered?

Content writing, paid assets such as stock photography or fonts, complex third-party integrations, e-commerce functionality on website packages, advanced authentication, hosting, domains, email services and other third-party expenses are excluded unless they are explicitly listed in the proposal.

  • How do the revision rounds work?

Two rounds of consolidated revisions are included per package. Feedback is collected as a single consolidated list per round, and additional rounds are quoted separately so the schedule stays predictable.

  • What happens to unused maintenance hours?

They expire at the end of the month they were bought in and do not roll over. Maintenance is billed month to month, so the plan in force for a month is the one that has been agreed for that month.

  • What happens if the scope changes part-way through?

Any change is discussed and quoted before the work is started, so the agreed scope and the price both stay accurate. Work already completed is billed as agreed.

  • How do I get a firm quote?

Send the brief. A written scope and a fixed estimate come first — before any work is scheduled or charged — so the number you agree to is the number the project is delivered against.
